Recovery of withdrawn control points / tel. 08*********88 и 08*********03

Each driver has a certain number of control points. Initially a driver has 39 control points. Drivers with up to 2 years' experience have only 27 control points. When drivers reach 2 years' experience they are automatically entitled to the maximum of 39 control points.

How are withdrawn control points recovered?

The driver must go to the traffic police at the place of report and pay all fines. The number of points withdrawn on that date is retained.

A driver who has had all his control points withdrawn loses his licence and must return his licence to the Traffic Police. He/she may be admitted to the licence test no earlier than 6 months from the date on which the licence was returned. The driver shall serve a penalty of disqualification from driving, which shall take effect from the moment the licence is returned.

When are control points withdrawn?

Control points are withdrawn after a penalty notice has been served.
